On their honeymoon in Sorrento, Italy, Michael and Farida soaked in the beauty of the Amalfi coastline, its sunlit streets, deep blue waters, and towering cliffs that had stood for centuries. As they sailed back to the mainland, something caught Michael’s eye. Etched into the golden limestone of the cliffs was a single word: Excelsior.

It struck a chord. Later that evening, he looked up its meaning, "ever upward, ever rising". It was more than just a word; it was the embodiment of his vision. Inspired by this, he refined the name, and XELSA was born. Healthcare that didn’t just react to problems but lifted people toward long-term strength, independence, and vitality.
